I am at a wedding, I believe it is for Shalini, an Indian woman I used to work with/for. Also in the dream are women from my previous job: the supervisor and the other project manager. Both women used to yell at me and were impatient with me in spite of my hard work. All three women are women with whom I had a challenging work experience and I distanced myself from all three by ending the work relationships. When the supervisor sits down she mentioned that she has been seeing a therapist. I assume that she has been discussing the guilt she feels about my departure from the office. I then look for a chair to sit at the banquet table. The table is very long. I find a folding chair, it looks like a bucket style mid century modern almost barstool. I was trying to beat another guest to the stoll and I get it first. I return to the table to see the supervisor sitting in a sofa behind the table with the project manager. The wedding begins after we have switched to sitting on the floor. When I sit on the floor, I sit on my bag. My cellphone is in my bag and it is usually in my jacket pocket. Unfortunately because I sat on my bag, I crushed my cell phone and it cannot take photos. I explain this to a male friend and he takes photos for me of the wedding. Later in the dream I am in a zoo. A dog named Rocky is in the tiger pit and I am walking past it and hear the owner call for Rocky. ROcky makes a sound to indicate that he heard her and runs toward her. Then As I am standing on the viewing platform of the tiger pit, I hear a sound. I recognize it as the tiger. I think to myself that if I hear that noise i the wild I would be scared and know what to do -- run. The tiger appears from its den and looks at us in a proud way. A little boy is climbing the protective screen at the viewing deck and I pull him down. Then his parents approach. Another little boy, tinier than the other boy, both Black, approached. He has gorgeous curly hair. It has grey streaks in it. The other little boy comments on his grey streaks.
This dream may be symbolic of your past work experiences and relationships. Seeing your former colleagues and the supervisor discussing their guilt about your departure may reflect your own unresolved feelings of guilt or dissatisfaction with how things ended. The banquet table may represent your desire for a sense of belonging and acceptance, but the challenge of finding a suitable seat may suggest difficulty in achieving this. Sitting on your phone and crushing it may indicate a fear of losing touch or connection with others. The male friend taking photos for you may represent the support of others in helping you stay connected.
Moving on to the zoo, the presence of Rocky the dog in the tiger pit may symbolize a lack of boundaries or safety concerns. The sound of the tiger may represent a powerful force or danger in your life. Your knowledge of how to react if faced with this danger shows your capacity for self-preservation. The little boy climbing the protective screen and the parent's arrival may indicate a need for protection or guidance, perhaps from your own parental figures. Finally, the other little boy's grey streaked hair may signify a unique characteristic or strength that stands out. Overall, this dream may suggest a need for clarity and resolution in past relationships, while also highlighting your own strengths and ability to navigate challenges.
